COMMISSIONING OF SIX(6) UNIT CLASSROOM BLOCK AT NSESE IN THE BOSOME FREHO DISTRICT

A commissioning ceremony was held on Wednesday 20th January, 2021 at Nsese in the Bosome Freho District.

The project, a Six (6) Unit Classroom block was constructed to accommodate the high number of pupil who always trek to a long distance to access a continued education in another community.

The cost of the project is worth thousands of Ghana cedis and the source of funding is GETfund.

The District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Yaw Danso assisted by the District Education Director Mr. Seth Boateng, the District Coordinating Director Mr. Samuel Kyei Baffour Frimopong, the Headmaster of the school a,

representative of Nsese Traditional Council  and leading members from the District Assembly performed the ceremony.

Hon. Yaw Danso, District Chief Executive, in his remarks said, the completion of the project was an indication of the government’s commitment to ensure that quality education is extended to the various institutions in Ghana.

Hon. Yaw projects Danso emphasized on the need of the pupil to take advantage of government initiatives currently going on the Basic Schools to study hard for a better future and urged them to cultivate a good maintenance culture for the facility.

He said, the government and the assembly is ever prepared to support any activities of education.

The District Director of Education, Mr. Seth Boateng was grateful to the government and the district assembly for completing the projects on time.

He said, it is his expectation that, all stakeholders would continue to work together to improve education within the district and therefore appealed to teachers to give off their best to make the government’s dream a reality.

Participants were Honorable Assembly Member, Teachers, Students, the Media and the general public.
