On Wednesday, December 7, 2022, the Executive Director for T-tel- Robbins Todd and a team from Jacobs Foundation paid a monitoring visit to the district to assess the impact of the Learning Transformation Agenda under the Community for Excellence Programme which aims at improving the learning outcome of pupil at the Basic school in the district.
A presentation on the progress of the District Transformation Agenda regarding managing for learning activities in the district was made to assess the level of constraints, achievements, and the way forward.
The team also visited two primary schools (Asiwa Model Primary and Minti D/A Primary) to observe Professional Learning Community (PLC) sessions and had interactions with teachers’ and students in creating awareness for the National Teachers Standards in Basic Education.
The visit included lesson observations as well as meeting with the community leaders and change Leaders.
