The Bosome Freho District Assembly in the Ashanti Region on the 11th of March, 2019 presented 31 Motorbikes to Assembly Members.
The District Chief Executive (DCE) Mr. Yaw Danso on behalf of government presented the bikes to the Presiding Member of the Assembly, Mr. Kwaku Frimpong who later distributed them to the members.
The DCE expressed his appreciation to them for their contributions towards the Assembly,s success ever since they became assembly members.
Hon. Yaw Danso said the bikes are meant to assist them in discharging their official duties and also enhance their movement.
He said the role played by Assembly members in the locality are very essential and urged members to used the bikes for the intended purpose.
He drew the attention to the need for them to make sure the bikes were properly maintained.
Hon. Yaw Danso advised the Assembly members to support the Assembly mobilized revenue to facilitate the development of the district.
The presiding member , Hon. Kwaku Frimpong handed over the keys to the assembly members, commended the government fot its commitment to resource the Assembly and also making the Assembly members mobile to discharge their duties.
