COMMISSIONING OF THREE NEW PROJECTS

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Bosome Freho, Hon. Charles Appiah-Kubi, on 27th November 2025, commissioned three major development projects aimed at enhancing infrastructure and improving access to essential services within the district.

The newly completed projects comprise a four-unit single-room teachers’ accommodation at Adeito, a National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) office, and a Department of Agriculture Office at Asiwa. These facilities have been officially handed over to their respective beneficiaries to support effective service delivery and improve working conditions for staff.

The commissioning ceremony was graced by Nananoom, the Coordinating Director, Michael Agyei (Esq.), Heads of Departments, Assembly Members, staff of the Assembly, and members of the public.

Addressing the gathering, Hon. Appiah-Kubi highlighted the importance of regular maintenance to safeguard the longevity of the projects. He reiterated the Assembly’s unwavering commitment to expanding and improving infrastructure across the district. The DCE called on traditional leaders and community members to continue supporting development initiatives that benefit the district.

He further addressed the issue of low teacher enrollment in the area, assuring the public that the Assembly, in collaboration with the Education Directorate, will work diligently to improve teacher numbers. He encouraged teachers, NHIA staff, and MoFA staff to remain dedicated to their duties, emphasizing government’s ongoing efforts to enhance their welfare and working environment.

Conclusion

The commissioning of these projects marks another significant step in the Bosome Freho District Assembly’s efforts to strengthen social services and promote sustainable development.
