The Bosome Freho District Assembly in collaboration with the Directorate of Ghana Education Service has distributed nose masks, school uniforms, hand sanitizers and other COVID-19/20 relief items to basic schools children in the district, who reported at school for the first time in the new academic year.
This forms part of the assembly’s initiative to support My First Day at School Project and to inspire the children to be at school while increasing enrolment at the basic level.
The schools are Ohwimase D/A Primary, Anhwiaso Methodist Primary and JHS, Tebeso II Presby Primary and Tebeso I RC Primary and JHS and Tebeso I D/A Primary and JHS.
The District Chief Executive Hon. Yaw Danso, who distributed the items advised the children to take their studies seriously while adhering to COVID-19 protocols.
The District Director of Education, Mr. Seth Boateng charged parents to ensure that their wards that have stayed home for a longer period due to COVID-19 get back to school to continue with their academic work.
