School uniforms, textbooks, and other educational resources were given to the district’s elementary school students who reported to class for the first time in the new academic year in partnership with the Directorate of Ghana Education Service.

This is a part of the Assembly’s effort to support the My First Day at School Project and encourage students to attend class while raising basic enrolment rates.

The schools are Tebeso II Presby Primary, Tebeso I RC Primary and JHS, Tebeso I D/A Primary and JHS, Ohwimase D/A Primary, Anhwiaso Methodist Primary, and JHS, and Tebeso I D/A Primary and JHS.

The District Chief Executive Hon. Yaw Danso, who distributed the items advised the children to take their studies seriously.

The district’s director of education, Mr. Seth Boateng, urged parents to put their children’s education first.
