On Thursday, 10th April 2025, the Member of Parliament for Bosome Freho Constituency, Hon. Nana Kwame Asafo-Adjei Ayeh, held a strategic engagement with the entire staff of the Bosome Freho District Assembly and the Heads of Department. The purpose of the meeting was to outline the vision he has for the District’s development.
In his opening remarks, Hon. Promoting the Identity of the District
The Member of Parliament emphasized the importance of elevating the image and recognition of Bosome Freho at both the national and international levels. He believes the district possesses unique attributes that merit global acknowledgment and promotion.
Utilization and Development of Natural Resources
He underscored the district’s wealth of natural resources, including waterfalls and a diligent population. Hon. Ayeh committed to ensuring that, by the end of his tenure, significant strides would be made in developing these resources for the socio-economic benefit of the district.
Improvement of Road Infrastructure
Recognizing the critical role of transportation in development, he highlighted his plans to enhance the district’s road network. He noted that better roads would not only improve connectivity but also facilitate access to and development of local resources.
Tourism Development
In partnership with the District Chief Executive (DCE) and the District Coordinating Director (DCD), the MP expressed his commitment to promoting tourism. He cited the recently discovered Minti Waterfall as a promising attraction that could be developed into a key tourism site for the district.
Support for Education
Hon. Ayeh pledged strong support for education, particularly for students transitioning to Senior High School. He promised to provide essential items such as trunks, chop boxes, and other necessary supplies to ease the burden on parents and encourage educational pursuit.
