REGIONAL COORDINATING COUNCIL MONITORING TEAM’S SECOND QUARTER MONITORING VISIT

On Monday, July 31st, 2023, the Regional Coordinating Council, Ashanti, paid a visit to the Bosome Freho District as part of the second quarter monitoring exercise. Regional Engineer Kojo Darko-Asante from the PWD, Accounts’ Oscar Boateng Owusu, Internal Audit’s Joyce Yeboah-Korantemaa, and Statistician Henock Kyei from the ARCC made up the team that carried out the exercise. The team toured the district to keep tabs on projects that were completed and those that were still in progress, as well as to evaluate how the district was using the funds that were allocated to it.

The team additionally reviewed the status reports for every project—DPAT, DACF, GETFund that was executed for 2022 and 2023, both ongoing and completed.

The monitoring visit was fruitful and educational overall, offering the district useful insights. The effective completion of the ongoing projects and the district’s development initiatives will both be aided by the implementation of the suggested recommendations by the team.
